Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Operator Job Description Join a renowned full-service production CNC machine shop, established in 1946, that manufactures diverse metal parts for industries such as agriculture, construction, and mining worldwide. Operate cutting-edge CNC machines, primarily Mazaks, to produce components for notable clients, ensuring quality and efficiency in every task. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines and Machining Centers to produce a variety of small to large parts with minimal scrap. Review drawings, instructions, and blueprints to ensure accurate production. Plan the proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments efficiently. Inspect parts using gauges and ensure quality through measuring skills and SPC chart tracking. Document completed labor and quality checks, reporting errors and defects. Identify machine/tool maintenance needs and perform minor repairs. Learn and perform machine set-ups using provided documentation to organize necessary equipment. Work Environment Work on all 3 shifts, with a 15% premium on off shifts. While overtime is available, it is not mandatory, with opportunities to work over 50 hours. The shop is well-lit, with work orders set through 2025, ensuring a busy and stable work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Ixonia, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
