Pay & Shifts Available $25–$35/hr 1st Shift: 6:00am–2:30pm 2nd Shift: 2:00pm–10:30pm ($0.50 differential) 3rd Shift: 10:00pm–6:30am (10% differential) What You’ll Do Set up complex parts on CNC machines (multi?axis lathes, Swiss?type lathes, vertical machining centers) Perform tool changes, machine changeovers, and routine maintenance Interpret detailed blueprints and geometric tolerances Complete 1st article inspections and verify part quality Make minor program edits (tool locations, speeds/feeds) Collaborate with engineering to improve cycle times and machining performance Mentor junior machinists and help strengthen the team Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment What You Bring Must?Haves 3 years machining on Haas Mills or Star (Swiss) machines Experiene setting up Haas and/or Star (Swiss) machines 1 year editing G?code on Fanuc controls Skilled with micrometers, calipers, gauges Nice?to?Haves CNC programming experience (Haas or Star) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chicago, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
