Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
opportunity is available for a Social Worker to serve two schools
in the Waukegan, IL area. This contract position offers the chance
to make a meaningful impact on the social and emotional well-being
of students by providing critical support and resources. Key
Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments to identify students
social, emotional, and behavioral needs - Develop and implement
intervention plans to support students well-being and academic
success - Collaborate with school staff, families, and community
agencies to coordinate services - Provide counseling and crisis
intervention as needed - Advocate for students needs within the
school system and community resources Qualifications and Desired
Experience: - Licensed Social Worker credential preferred or
required, depending on local regulations - Experience working in
school settings strongly preferred - Strong understanding of
student development, family dynamics, and community resources -
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with
students, families, and school personnel - Ability to manage a
part-time schedule, working three days per week across two school
locations Location:Waukegan, Illinois servicing two school sites
within the district area This part-time schedule offers flexibility
while engaging in meaningful work that directly impacts students
educational experiences. If you possess the skills to support
