Job Description Job Description LHH is seeking a hands-on Materials Manager to lead purchasing, inventory, and materials flow operations in alignment with production needs. This role will ensure materials are sourced, stocked, and delivered efficiently to support on-time manufacturing. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute materials management and purchasing strategies. • Source suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage ongoing vendor performance. • Maintain accurate inventory levels and prevent stockouts or excess. • Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities. • Improve material flow and reduce costs through process optimization. • Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales to align demand and supply. • Lead and mentor a team of buyers, planners, and inventory specialists. • Enforce safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, or related field. • 4 years of experience in materials, procurement, or supply chain-preferably in manufacturing. • Strong communication skills and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems. • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office. • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities.
