Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the Automation Technician
will repair PLC based electrical control system. Electrical and
Electronic troubleshooting of CNC turning, drilling and grinding
machines. Monitor modifies and write PLC program. Plan layout and
wire electrical control panel and install on industrial machinery.
Good understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
system.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Associate degree or equivalent experience and High school diploma
or general education degree (GED).
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and
interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of Manufacturing software.

loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are
required in all production areas. Hearing protection is encouraged
and may be required in specific areas.
