We continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.Edward Jones is seeking a highly skilled individual to serve as an FP&A Analyst on the Financial Planning and Analysis team within the Finance Division. Responsibilities include supporting a finance team whose primary role is to help business areas articulate quantitative economic outcomes of work and help senior decision makers allocate investment across a variety of teams, projects, and efforts consistently.

Key Responsibilities :

• Partner with functional stakeholders to support and evolve annual and multi-year planning and outlooking processes.
• Help business partners across the firm understand the financial and economic impact of business decisions by performing ad-hoc and scenario analysis.
• Create and improve dashboards with key performance indicators, financial drivers, and insights to support functional and enterprise partners.
• Deliver value-added, action-oriented analysis and recommendations, translating information, trends, and data into usable insights for functional business partners.
• Participate in and occasionally lead cross-functional teams responsible for implementing projects in support of divisional or firm-wide business objectives.
• Work effectively in a matrixed finance organization and across the broader enterprise. Identify and coordinate resources (people, systems, tools) not in your immediate hierarchy.
• Effectively communicate recommendations and complex analysis into easily digestible materials for varied audiences.
• Integrate project, division and/or program-level measurements to influence strategic direction.
• Educate senior leaders across the firm on financial and analytical concepts and best practices.Education
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Analytics
  • Relevant work experience will be considered
  • MBA or advanced degree or certification is required
  • Years Work Experience: 5+Depth of Knowledge
    • Consulting and/or corporate fp&a experience is a plus.
    • Financial Services industry experience is a plus.Functional/Technical Qualifications
      • Strong ability to understand and identify opportunities to apply advanced financial and analytical techniquesAbility to conduct complex financial analyses, forecasts, and general modelling are required.Strong verbal and written communication skills are required as the position will be responsible for clearly articulating analyses and recommendations to senior leaders and colleagues.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:
