A Test Systems Technician I assists in the construction of various
test systems and test tools necessary to evaluate automotive
components to ensure conformance to customer requirements. This
position is carried out with thoroughness and competence in order
to produce reliable test results and maintain a high standard of
- Assemble tester cabinets according to engineering instructions,
technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and
- Fabricate and modify test system components.
- Build tester harnesses.
- Perform verification and measurement analysis testing using
DMMs and Oscilloscopes.
- Maintain test equipment, tools, and systems.
- Assist in the development of new test system designs.
Experience: 1+ years
Education: Associate's or 2 Year Degree
- Good understanding of basic wiring diagrams and electrical
- Knowledge of test and measurement equipment (DMM, Power Supply,
- May operate bench lathes, drills, or other machine tools to
fabricate parts, such as tester fixtures, terminal boards, and
