Job Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:A Mechanical Installer is responsible for the
installation, assembly, dismantling, maintenance, troubleshooting,
and repair of machinery to ensure successful on-site installation,
servicing and repair processes of complex equipment, and systems
without direct supervision. You will follow detailed installation
prints and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help
of Engineering teams.Primary Duties:Works with industry-specific
and high complex precision machines including but not limited to
High-Speed Sorters, All types of conveyors, hydraulic systems,
pumps, gears, bearings, compressors, etc.Responsible for fitting
bearings, align gears and wheels, attach motors, and connect belts
according to manufacturer's blueprints and drawingsResponsible for
with the dismantling of machinery using hammers, wrenches,
crowbars, and other hand toolsResponsible for the unloading,
inspecting, moving, and setting of equipment into position using
cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucksResponsible for rigging
and hoisting devices such as chokers, chain falls, and come along
to move equipment / materials into placeAssists CSI Mechanical
Installation Lead with leading less experienced locally hired
personnelEnsure working within the project safety planResponsible
for Providing input and support to the Site Manager and the
Commissioning & Testing teamResponsible for site quality,
cleanliness, and safety standardsAcquire commissioning
supportResponsible to complete punch listResponsible to receive,
inspect, and distribute materials.Troubleshooting installation
issuesMake sure every task is done with a commitment to CSI values
and safety rules and regulations Other Duties:Maintain good
customer relationship throughout entire project.Ability to meet all
physical demands - see belowExperience using industrial lifting
equipment, hand tools and power toolsMust have reliable
transportation and be able to work 7 days, as neededMust have a
solid understanding of most Hytrol and Dorner conveyorsKnowledge of
industrial machinery and equipmentWorking knowledge of cables,
ropes, hoists, and chainsExperience using industrial lifting
equipment, hand tools and power toolsExperience using industrial
hand tools and power toolsAbility to work independently with
minimal supervisionVery knowledgeable of the Conveyor Solutions way
of working, plans and specsMay require lifting, carrying, and
moving up to 150 lbs in a safe manner Education &
Experience:Experience in mechanical installations desiredKnowledge
of math concepts, geometry, and layoutKnowledge of Microsoft office
softwareAbility to read blueprints, schematic drawings, engineering
specifications, and understand how to read and interpret technical
manuals in order to determine work proceduresCertifications &
Licenses:Valid Driver licensesOSHA 10Welder certification a
