Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for ensuring the property is maintained in the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to guests.

This position is eligible for a $1000 sign-on bonus after 90 days of continuous employment with good standing expectation.

Education & Experience:

--- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field required.
--- At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
--- Trade school and/or College course work in related field helpful.
--- Drivers License
Fundamental Requirements:

--- Complete assigned work orders for general repair within assigned time frame in order to achieve operational efficiency of the hotel, its safety and its equipment.
--- Immediately and courteously respond to guests needs in order to diagnose, repair and resolve room maintenance requests and problems as they arise
--- Diagnose and repair fitness center equipment.
--- Diagnose and make basic repairs to individual fan coil units: change filters, clean coils, replace motors, etc.
--- Diagnose and repair small cleaning equipment: vacuums, extractors, scrubbers, etc.
--- Ceiling tile repair and replacement.
--- Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures.
--- Perform furniture repair and office furniture/workstation installation.
--- Trace all types of water lines and perform small repairs.
--- Perform basic plumbing repairs (i.e. clogged drains, copper pipe, change washers, change handles, drain fittings, rodding, toilet replacement, etc).
--- Make basic repairs on kitchen equipment.
--- Become proficient in the use of electronic devices for recording work activity, receiving work orders and PM's.
--- Perform and maintain work to local, state and Federal codes.
--- Perform all other maintenance and facility care tasks as requested to assist Q Center as a whole.
--- Request necessary parts with accurate detailed information.
--- Basic repair and programming of hotel electronic locks systems.
