Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYResponsible for Shipping/receiving and warehouse, process and coordinate all activities and operations. Ensure that the departments meet quality, efficiency, on time shipping requirements while maintaining safety and their cost effectiveness.Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Monitor and oversee both outgoing and incoming shipping activities to make sure that everything that is received or shipped out is in perfect condition
• Responsible for packing posting weight and shipping charges as applies to each item to be shipped out
• In charge of compiling a list of unfulfilled orders for future reference
• Direct the movement of kitting department
• Decide the load limit of each truck used in the loading and delivery process
• Read shipping notices, invoices, orders, and other documents so as to determine priorities and shipping methods that are needed to meet schedules
• Notify maintenance unit or contact external service providers in the case of defects on materials for repairs
• Carry out regular inventory cycle counts of supplied materials
• Ensure the availability of stock to reduce shortages
• Participate in hiring and training of new personnel for the company's shipping unit
• Support the simplification and standardization of processes in a bid to enhance effectiveness.
  • Must have excellent communication skillsPosition Qualifications
    • Proven experience of at least 2 years in a Shipping management or supervisory role
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Must possess good leadership and supervisory abilities
    • Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety
    • Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as a groupCompetencies Required

        • Education: Bachelor's degree a plus
        • Experience: 5+ years' experience in manufacturing operations3+ years' experience in a supervisory capacity
