POSITION SUMMARY Join our Behavior Health team of dedicated providers. The RHY/HY Coordinator provides ongoing supervision of program staff to ensure client needs are met through a trauma informed and positive youth development perspective. RHY/HY Coordinator establishes and maintains positive community relationships to ensure service area service providers know of the program and how to access services. This position is responsible for a 24-hour crisis response program and must have progressive responsibilities in staff supervision, program management and crisis work. Essential Functions Statement(s) Maintains knowledge and competency in trauma-informed care and positive youth development. Maintains program documentation including grant funded paperwork and spreadsheets to ensure compliance with stated guidelines. Plan, implement and monitor RHY program. Facilitate weekly groups in schools and community presentations. Facilitate reunification meetings. Follows up with families to investigate complaints, resolve problems, and monitor the delivery of service, informing Supervisor of any complaints that may require DCFS/OIG investigations. Completes required monthly reports, attendance records, data tracking, file reviews, memos and monthly staff meeting notes and grant specific needs of the program within designated timeframes. Establishes and fosters communication and positive interactions among participants, families, staff and collaterals. Makes recommendations or assists in program development; plans, organizes, implements, and monitors program goals and objectives. Ensures a safe, clean, efficient working environment for all program staff and clients. Participates in continued training and involved in community meetings. Follows HR policies and completes HR paperwork. Contacts HR with questions concerning either. Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: Bachelor's Degree Required, Field of Study: Social Services Experience: 3 plus years of experience in human service-related field, including supervisory experience Experience working with runaway and homeless youth preferred. Licenses: N/A Other Requirements: Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Must be able to meet agency driver safety requirement of carrying personal vehicle insurance with the following limits:
$50,000 bodily injury, each person
$100,000 bodily injury, each accident
