Exciting opportunity for an engineering professional with selling experience of products related with the testing industry. A market leader in the manufacture of civil engineering laboratory testing equipment is seeking a Product Specialist (Asphalt or asphalt related materials ) with at least a year or so experience.The position will provide a challenging and varied working environment with the potential to develop a career in a growing company. As a product specialist, you can combine extensive technical knowledge with commercial skills. Your clients will usually be technical staff from Universities, Public Entities, Private Labs, Contractors and other companies involved in the civil engineering industry. What You Will Be Doing
Looking for someone with knowledge or experience in asphalt or asphalt related materials. It could be from a commercial or technical position. Perhaps a Technical Manager/QC Manager/Production or SalesWe sell a range asphalt testing equipment to Universities, contractors, asphalt suppliers, bitumen suppliers. Having a general background knowledge or understanding of how the material is made and used would be an advantage. The users of our equipment will expect a level of knowledge of the industry and the materials and come to us for advice on testing so this is the reason I am looking for someone with an asphalt related background.
What You Need for this Position
At Least 1 Year of experience and knowledge of:- B.S. Civil Engineering- Sales exp. with long sales cycles- 50% travel- experience in civil engineering materials- Asphalt testing equipment- Develop long term relationships- Commercial or technical background
