Koch Foods, a leader in the poultry processing industry, is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our logistic processes, ensuring safe and efficient handling of our high-quality poultry products across various storage facilities. This position requires operating heavy lifting equipment, managing inventory, and adhering to stringent safety protocols to support our commitment to excellence and safety in all our operations. Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to move or stack merchandise accurately. Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to avoid damage or spoilage. Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas to uphold safety and operational standards. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure it is safe and fit for use. Work closely with warehouse staff to coordinate logistics and streamline operations. Adhere to company guidelines and safety protocols at all times. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery. Strong organizational skills for proper goods handling and storage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good physical condition to meet demands of the job including lifting heavy items. Attention to detail especially concerning safety regulations and procedures. Certified Forklift Operator credentials are preferred.
