Job Description:
Drexel Building Supply is currently seeking a dedicated and
efficient Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic transportation
team. At Drexel, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch
services and building materials for various construction projects.
As a member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in
ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our products directly to
our customers and project sites. Operate Class A CDL vehicles in a
safe and professional manner at all times. Ensure all cargo is
secured and delivered without damage. Perform vehicle inspections
before and after each trip and report any issues or maintenance
needs. Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and
retain fuel/toll receipts. Coordinate with the logistics team to
efficiently manage schedules and routes. Assist in loading and
unloading materials as needed, ensuring that all materials are
checked and signed off before transport. Proficiency in operating
GPS and other navigation systems. Strong time management and
customer service skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and
participate in strenuous physical tasks. Knowledge of vehicle
maintenance and troubleshooting. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
