motivated, curious, and data-centric individual to help implement
and drive category growth strategies. The Digital Merchandising
Specialist is responsible for executing cross-category strategies
to improve customer's navigation and product search via our
eCommerce platform. This includes optimizing and implementing
Search & Browse tactics to improve findability and customer
experience. The Digital Merchandising Specialist will be partnering
with the Merchandising, Marketing, and Development Teams to improve
customer navigation and will report to the eCommerce Merchandising
Manager. Duties/Responsibilities:Support Merchandising roadmaps to
positively influence product category engagement and conversion
through the digital eCommerce funnel.Ensure proper customer-facing
product categorization to enable customers are able to find
relevant products quickly and easily.Optimize category landing
pages, search result pages, and product detail pages (PDP) to
ensure products are displayed in the right way to make it easy for
customers to find and purchase the correct products.Identify
content enrichment opportunities across categories and ensure
sequencing enables ongoing execution efforts.Conducting user and
competitive research, implementing tests, analyzing shopping
behavior and doing post-implementation analysis.Optimize the search
experience by monitoring category search trends and performance,
improve product data to bring back most relevant results,
merchandise result sets including re-directs and biasing as well as
manage facet displayPresent cross-functionally on category
optimization insights, performance and lessons learnedCollaborate
with the Marketing and Merchandising teams on a monthly reporting
regarding category performance including actual vs. goal, tactic &
strategy execution, analytic insights, and key action items.
Required Skills/Abilities:5 years of experience in digital
merchandising with large assortment experience preferred
(preferably in the technology or consumer-goods market).Strong
communication and organizational skills and the ability to manage
multiple projects effectively.Experience with Searchspring or
similar search optimization tools.Experience using web analytics
tools such as Google AnalyticsExperience with SEM, SEO, and onsite
SearchKnowledge and understanding of SQL, BigQuery, R and/or other
query tool is a plus.Curious mindset with a strong desire to find
new ways to improve the customer experience, ask though provoking
questions and challenge the status quoDemonstrates the OWC values
of transparency, ownership, winning and losing together, and
customer obsession. Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in
Marketing or related field preferred.Physical Requirements:The
