registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years NICU RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing
care in a high-acuity Level III NICU setting, supporting fragile
neonates ranging from 24 weeks gestation to 44 weeks. This role
requires expertise in caring for micro preemies, grower feeders,
and infants on respiratory or surgical support, ensuring
comprehensive and compassionate care throughout the night shift.
Location:This position is based in Elgin, IL, offering exposure to
an advanced neonatal intensive care environment. Elgin is a vibrant
city with a rich cultural heritage and convenient access to
amenities and outdoor activities, providing a balanced lifestyle
for healthcare professionals. Schedule/Hours: 12-hour night shifts
(7:00 PM 7:00 AM) Every other weekend Possible float to nearby
Elmhurst campus depending on census Qualifications / Desired
Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Illinois Minimum 2
years of Level III NICU experience Competent with care for neonates
from 24 weeks gestation and up, including micro preemies and
high-acuity cases Certification in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation
Program (NRP) required Experience in Epic charting system highly
preferred Responsibilities: Deliver quality nursing care to
critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU Monitor and manage
complex respiratory and surgical cases Collaborate with physicians
and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement appropriate
care plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic
medical records (Epic) Adapt to floating assignments when needed
