qualifications will not be considered. Providing specialized care
in a high-acuity Level III NICU setting, this opportunity involves
working with neonates ranging from 24 weeks gestation up to 44
weeks, including micro preemies and surgical cases. The role
requires an experienced RN to support infants on respiratory
assistance and those needing grower feeder care. Location:Situated
in Elgin, Illinois, the facility serves as a key healthcare
provider in the region. This vibrant community offers a blend of
suburban comfort and city accessibility, with a variety of cultural
spots, parks, and restaurants to explore during time off.
Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in
a Level III NICU environment Monitor and manage infants requiring
respiratory support, surgical care, and specialized feeding plans
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure
optimal patient outcomes Utilize Epic charting system for accurate
documentation and communication Adapt to unit needs by floating to
an alternate campus as necessary Qualifications: Active Illinois
Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years NICU RN experience
in Level III neonatal intensive care Current certifications in CPR
and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Familiarity with care of
preterm infants, including micro preemies and high acuity cases
Proficiency with Epic electronic charting preferred Schedule:
12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend
commitment required This contract role is ideal for nurses seeking
