great client actively hiring a permanent Medical Technologist near
Lansing, MI. Here is more information: Summary: The Med Tech
performs a variety of chemical, hematologic, serologic,
immunohematologic, microscopic, and microbiologic analyses for
disease diagnosis and treatment. The hospital: 100 bed hospital
with several satellite locations Winner of the Outstanding Patient
Experience Award Responsibilities: Conducts hematology and
chemistry analyses, operating current instrumentation and
performing manual testing. Completes STAT tests (CBC, PTT, Protime,
electrolytes, BUN, Creatinine, cardiac enzymes, therapeutic drug
levels) within specified timeframes. Orders tests and reports
results Prepares special reports, manages quality control, and
ensures validity of test results. Maintains instrumentation and
performs preventive maintenance Trains new staff and students,
follows safety protocols, and adheres to hospital policies and
procedures.
