Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An immediate need
exists for two full-time Occupational Therapists to support
elementary and early childhood education settings in the Chicago
area. These contract positions offer the opportunity to provide
vital therapy services across multiple school districts, working
closely with students to support their developmental and functional
goals. Position Details: First role involves covering two
non-concurrent leaves with full-time hours at two different
elementary schools: Initial assignment in Bloomingdale (District
93) until May Subsequent assignment in Glen Ellyn (District 41),
also full-time Second role supports an early childhood classroom in
Glendale Heights (District 16) Both roles require 35 hours per week
Contract length covers the current school year (CSY) Note: An offer
has been extended for the early childhood position but is pending
acceptance Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed
Occupational Therapist with relevant state credentials Experience
working in school-based settings, preferably with elementary and
early childhood populations Ability to deliver high-quality
occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress
documentation Strong communication skills to collaborate
effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Flexibility to cover two different schools non-concurrently in the
first position Responsibilities: Conduct occupational therapy
assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with
educational goals Provide direct intervention services focusing on
fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-help skills, and
related areas Monitor student progress and document outcomes
according to school and legal requirements Participate in team
meetings and provide recommendations to support student success
