Work Schedule: 100% FTE, day shift. Monday – Friday with flexible
start times ranging from 7:00AM – 8:00AM. Rotating weekends and
holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the
department. Pay: - This position may be eligible for a $4,000

of patient care by providing accurate diagnostic and treatment
information. We are seeking a Senior Medical Technologist (MT) –
Microbiology to: - Provide daily direction to other laboratory
staff regarding laboratory workload, policies, procedures, and
recommend adjustments to staffing, policies and procedures. -
Perform routine to complex lab testing. Bring forth the specialized
scientific and technical knowledge essential to perform lab
testing. - Demonstrate strong decision-making skills, ability to
work independently, and the ability to take on teaching/training
responsibilities as needed. - Perform advanced troubleshooting,

posted positions. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in a chemical,
physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical
technology Required or - Bachelor's Degree must include minimally
60 semester hours or equivalent, that includes either: 24 semester
hours of medical laboratory technology courses OR 24 semester hours
– 6 chemistry, 6 biology and 12 chemistry, biology, medical
laboratory technology in any combination Required - Bachelor's
Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) Preferred - Master's
Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (MLS) or related science or
healthcare field Preferred Work Experience - 2 years of experience
in a clinical laboratory with emphasis on skills related to work
area Required - 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory with
emphasis on skills related to work area Preferred Licenses &
Certifications - Certification (Medical Laboratory Scientist,
Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Technologist in Blood Bank,
Molecular Biology) by the board of American Society of Clinical
