TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Must have experience with multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU,
Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery. ICU experience
with adult populations is required. Must have completed two years
of acute care experience within the last three years. Traveler must
have prior experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center. Epic
experience is preferred within the last 12 months. License:
Traveler must hold a nursing license. A compact nursing license
from a permanent address state is acceptable. Certifications: BLS
and ACLS must be certified through the American Heart Association.
Telemetry Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
Must-Have: Experience in various critical care settings such as
Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU. Ability
to support and engage in shared governance. Must be willing to
float to other units as necessary. Description: This position
requires evening and night shifts from 1900 to 0730. Every other
weekend and holiday rotation is required. Travelers are the first
to float based on staffing needs. Shifts may be scheduled in
multiple units and locations within the organization. If there is
no longer a need in the primary department, shifts will be
reassigned to another department to complete the contract.
Telemetry competency testing is mandatory prior to start. The
candidate must pass the telemetry exam within two attempts. Strict
passing criteria is enforced for lethal rhythms identification and
other critical assessments. An active telemetry competency must be
maintained per calendar year. This role involves caring for high
acuity patients and utilizing advanced medical equipment. 5
