Interventional Radiology Location: Oak Park, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,125 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year experience required License: IL license in hand, or willing to obtain Certifications: ACLS ARRT R BLS IEMA Must-Have: Previous charge experience Community hospital experience required Patient ratio experience Charting system experience preferred (Epic) Description: Seeking a Cath Lab Tech with 1 year of experience. Candidates must have an IL license in hand or be willing to obtain one. The role requires expertise in temporary pacemaker insertion, cardiac ablation, and AICD insertion and programming. Accurate monitoring and cardiac stent placement are essential skills. Experience in left heart and right heart catheterization is required. Candidates should be skilled in percutaneous coronary interventions and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty. Permanent pacemaker insertion is a key responsibility of this position. Additional skills include chest tube placement, embolization procedures, and various biopsy techniques. Candidates should be proficient in advanced imaging and interventional procedures related to radiology. This position involves a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to patient care in the cath lab. A strong focus on patient safety and high-quality care is essential. Clinical candidates must demonstrate the ability to maintain a sterile field and perform room circulation duties effectively. The position requires flexibility and adaptability to the requirements of varying patient diagnoses. Continuous professional development and adherence to all compliance standards are expected.
