be considered. A skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in
Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures is sought for an
engaging contract opportunity in Elgin, IL. This role is suited for
a nursing professional experienced in cardiac open-heart surgeries
as well as endovascular and open vascular procedures. The position
requires critical clinical acumen and familiarity with advanced
cardiac surgical protocols. Responsibilities include supporting the
CVOR team through meticulous perioperative care and collaborating
with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal
outcomes. The role involves a Monday to Friday schedule with
on-call weekend rotations, requiring availability within 30 minutes
of the hospital for 15-18 days monthly. Proficiency with Epic
electronic medical records is essential. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Current Illinois RN license Minimum of 2 years of CVOR
nursing experience, including cardiac surgical and vascular
procedures At least one prior travel nursing contract completed BLS
certification required Expertise using Epic EMR Ability to perform
in fast-paced, high-acuity environments Schedule: 40 hours per week
Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Weekend on-call rotation
approximately 1 month (15-18 days) On-call response time within 30
minutes of hospital This 8-week contract offers an opportunity to
