be considered. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced
Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room procedures, with a
focus on ophthalmology and DaVinci robotic-assisted general
surgery. This contract position is based in Elgin, IL, offering a
structured Monday through Friday schedule, with defined on-call
responsibilities during weekends. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver
high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical
procedures in the operating room. - Utilize advanced skills in
ophthalmology and robotic-assisted surgery to support surgical
teams. - Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to
ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. - Maintain compliance
with hospital protocols and professional nursing standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Valid Registered Nurse
(RN) license. - Certification through the National Board of
Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). - Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification. - Minimum of 2 years experience in
operating room nursing. - Proficient in ophthalmology nursing and
experienced with DaVinci robotic surgery. - Previous travel nursing
contract experience highly preferred. - Familiarity with Epic
electronic medical records system. - Ability to respond to on-call
duties within 30 minutes of the hospital. Schedule and Hours: -
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. - On-call rotations
approximately 8-10 days, including weekends. Location
