Job Description:
The Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI is
hiring a full- time Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency
team on day shift! About WVRC: WVRC, Waukesha is recognized as a
certified Level 1 Emergency and Critical Care Facility by the
Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (VECCS). We have three
hospital locations: Waukesha, Racine and Grafton all dedicated to
providing patients, clients, and referring veterinarians the
highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care.

Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of technical
experience (ER experience preferred but not required) - CVT
required at time of hire or within nine months of hire - Ability to
work in a collaborative environment - Commitment to develop
long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community -
Excellent communication and organizational skills - Advocate for
patient care - Self-motivated with a passion for veterinary
medicine - Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced
environment - Advanced technical skill set such as restraint,
phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience
is required. General anesthesia knowledge is preferred. - Fluent
English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role;
