Job Description ProKatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Janesville, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel This position will require every other weekend & holiday and 12 hours shifts (Days 6:30A-7P). /n/n ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: /n/n /n/t - Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. /n/t - Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act. /n/t - Documents according to standards of care. /n/t - Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction. /n/t - Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, may include shared governance. /n/t - Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care. /n/t - Utilizes critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command. /n /n/n Shift: Days (6:30a-7p) /n/n General Certifications: General Certifications(BLS/ACLS) ProKatchers Job ID 287982.
