Job Description UW Health is seeking a Physician Assistant Outpatient Gastroenterology for a job in MADISON, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Gastroenterology - Discipline: Physician Assistant - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: /n 100% FTE, 8:00 am-5:00 pm: Monday – Friday. No holidays or call requirements. /n Be part of something remarkable /n Join the 1 hospital in Wisconsin! /n We are seeking a Physician Assistant: /n /n - Provide comprehensive care to adult and pediatric otolaryngology patients in an outpatient setting. /n - Assist with the following procedures: ear microscopy, removal of cerumen impaction, nasal cautery, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, myringotomy, hematoma evacuation, and lesion biopsy. /n - Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families with acute, chronic and/or potential health problems. /n - Perform, document, and interpret a defined subset of fluroscopically-guided upper GI studies on adult patients. /n /n Education: /n Minimum – /n Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program /n Licenses and Certifications: /n Minimum - /n Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND Active PA board certification. /n Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire; CPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP). /n/n Our commitment to Social Impact and Belonging /n UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
