Position Summary: This position is a critical leadership role on the Finance team, providing the organization with accurate, timely financial data for decision-making. The FP&A Director will lead the FP&A team and support the management team with valuable insight into financial performance which will enable achievement of strategic objectives. The Director will shape, drive and influence business performance and continuous improvement efforts. This will be a highly visible position responsible for partnering with the Executive team, Board of Directors, PE Sponsor and the Commercial & Operating teams to develop and drive initiatives, business planning, performance measurement/reporting, decision support, board reporting and strategic projects.Reporting to the CFO, the Director will build and lead a team of business partners. Key personal competencies for success include the ability to master operational issues, a technological aptitude, the ability to handle multiple competing priorities, outstanding teaming and collaboration skills, effective communication skills, and a positive "can-do" attitude.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in progressive finance roles and a proven track record of building and sustaining solid relationships with senior executives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance, Accounting and FP&A models, process and systems (including Oracle Cloud EPM). Experience working in agriculture or manufacturing industry is a plus. MBA and/or CPA is required.Essential (Responsibilities/Functions/Job duties):Monthly Reporting (30%)

  • Manage data integrity and global consolidation of monthly financial data into the reporting system.
  • Provide monthly variance analysis verses budget and/or forecast by geography and business segment to identify areas of concern and monitor processes.
  • Prepare and report on analysis of product sales, margins and trends by product segment, technology and geography.
  • Develop key performance indicators and trend analyses with recommendations to assist in improving cost efficiencies within the operation.
  • Lead compilation of monthly reporting package for management, PE Sponsor and Board (quarterly).
  • Work with the CFO to build and enhance reporting abilities and repeatable processes that ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
  • Support CFO in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to banks for debt compliance.
  • Lead automation and standardization of business unit reporting to increase efficiency of FP&A department.
  • Work closely with accounting team to influence the accuracy and effectiveness of the monthly closing process through analytical review and trend analysis.
  • Suggest and drive process and system improvements.
  • Perform other projects and tasks as requested and required.Budget and Forecasting (30%)
    • Lead global annual budget process including planning, development of objectives, communication, documentation of assumptions and presentations for management, PE Sponsor and Board.
    • Perform financial analysis to support budget/forecast assumptions.
    • Develop quarterly/monthly forecast with support from commercial units.
    • Manage and maintain the FP&A software tool.Business Partnership and Support (30%)
      • Build reporting tools for operating groups and departments.
      • Lead team of business partners who will support cost center owners in understanding monthly variances and interpreting the impact on the business.
      • Support business owners with analysis to support their budget assumptions and timely delivery.
      • Create financial models to analyze various business opportunities and cost savings initiatives.
      • Partner with operating Directors and / or VLS Executive Management to roll out cross-department initiatives.Other Analysis (10%)
        • Support evaluation of capital expenditures and ROI on other internal projects as requested.
        • Lead ad hoc scenario modeling for M&A and other business efforts.
        • Other duties as assigned.Criteria:

            • Minimum of 10 years of broad financial and analytical experience with2+ year supervisory in FP&A department
            • Master of Business Administration degree
            • Oracle Cloud EPM experience highly preferred
            • Experience managing and implement projects and process improvements
            • Experience working with remote and cross-functional teams
            • Strong technical and analytical skills
            • Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:
              • Prior manufacturing industry experience
              • CPA certification
