Position Summary: The Environmental Specialist will support a
dynamic EHS team who aspire to deliver solutions and provide
support to our team of 1,400+ employees in 90 locations in the
United States and Canada. The successful candidate will work
closely with HCC personnel and EHS Management to provide the
regulatory research and guidance to assist the company in
proactively managing regulatory compliance across all aspects of
the business. - The effective candidate will energetically support
HCC's leadership team on their drive for increased efficiency and
Working knowledge of Federal, states and local environmental
regulations, such as, RCRA, CWA and CAA.
Familiar with Environmental Reporting, such as, RCRA biennial
hazardous waste, Tier II, TRI, and other state and local reporting
for multiple locations and states.
Support environmental permitting and plans - New facilities,
existing permit modifications, renewals, etc.
Knowledge of Enablon preferred and/or other Environmental
Management Systems (EMIS). Support the implementation of
environmental management system, Enablon, by completing compliance
calendars for all required activities and reporting
Respond to CHEMTREC calls immediately and assist HCC personnel, as
needed to respond to spills.

Make all spill notifications and reports required by State and
Facilities Compliance Responsibilities:
Review and maintain all environmental programs and plans - SWPPP,
SPCC, Contingency plans, etc.
Developing, completing and filing all necessary documentation
and/or reports in accordance with applicable reporting and record
keeping requirements - periodic environmental reporting, inspection
checklists, spill reporting as needed, etc.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations

Work Environment: While performing essential duties of this
position an individual regularly works indoors and may be required
to sit for long periods. Individual will be required to regularly
talk, hear, see and often reach with hands, stand, walk, use a
computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
Noise level of the environment is generally quiet. This position
may require occasional travel by car or air to other HCC locations
