Job Description Job Description Job Title: OSP Design Engineer About the Role Are you a detail?driven problem solver who enjoys designing infrastructure that keeps communities connected and thriving? We’re looking for an OSP Design Engineer to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll lead the coordination and design of utility infrastructure relocations influenced by roadway, bridge, and other civil engineering projects. Your work will directly support major public improvement initiatives while giving you opportunities to grow your technical skills and influence project success. This position is ideal for someone who is self?motivated, enjoys collaboration, and is excited about contributing to meaningful infrastructure design. What You’ll Do Design and coordinate OSP (Outside Plant) and utility infrastructure relocations associated with civil engineering and transportation projects Support and manage project timelines, documentation, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and efficiency Work closely with internal teams, engineering partners, contractors, and public agencies Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify project needs, resolve design challenges, and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle Ensure compliance with industry standards, design specifications, and project requirements What You Bring 1–3 years of experience in OSP design, utility relocation, or a related technical discipline Proficiency with GIS, Civil Map, AutoCAD , and the Microsoft Office Suite Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast?paced environment Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team Associate degree in Civil Engineering, AutoCAD Design, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Skills Advanced experience with AutoCAD , GIS platforms , and Civil Map Familiarity with DOT, municipal, or transportation projects Understanding of utility construction methods and permitting processes Why You’ll Love Working Here Opportunity to work on high?impact infrastructure projects shaping local communities Supportive team environment with room for career growth and skill development A culture that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement If you’re excited to develop creative solutions for utility design challenges and want to grow your career in a supportive and forward?thinking environment, we’d love to hear from you!. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
