Job Description:
Position Title: CNC Machinist Wage: $25-$30/hour Shift: 2nd
Hours: 3pm-11pm QPS is looking for a 2nd shift CNC Machinist for a
client in Mukwonago, WI. If you have a positive attitude and the
ability to work independently and as a team, we would like to talk
with you! CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not
limited to: - Set up and operate Mazak Horizontal Machining Centers
for both new and existing jobs - Proficient in using common
measuring tools such as tapes, micrometers, calipers, and other
precision instruments - Maintain and submit accurate, legible daily
labor reports - Read, interpret, and process orders using standard
documentation such as work orders, in-house sheets, or other
authorized instructions - Ensure the ability to work within tight
tolerances to meet quality standards - Develop proficiency in the
operation, procedures, capabilities, and capacities of assigned
equipment - Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout
procedures and other required safety measures - Maintain a strong
operational understanding of all equipment assigned to the area CNC
Machinist Requirements: - Frequently lift and/or move up to 50
pounds - Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the
ability to adjust focus - Must be able to work overtime as needed -
Preferred a high school diploma or GED, along with at least 1 year
of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination
of education and experience - Strong reading, analytical, and
comprehension skills for processing written and verbal instructions
- Ability to write simple correspondence - Strong math skills,
including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all
units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
