(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A 1099 contract position is available for a skilled
Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services
within a school environment. This role requires the ability to
facilitate effective communication between hearing-impaired
students and educational staff through virtual platforms, ensuring
accessibility and inclusion in all learning activities. Key
responsibilities include: Providing accurate and clear sign
language interpretation during telehealth sessions. Collaborating
with educators and healthcare professionals to support students
communication needs. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to
ethical standards in all interactions. Managing scheduling and
availability in alignment with contract terms. Utilizing technology
effectively to deliver remote interpreting services. Qualifications
and desired experience: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
with certification preferred. Prior experience interpreting in
educational or telehealth settings. Strong understanding of
communication access laws and best practices. Ability to work
independently under a 1099 contract arrangement. Familiarity with
