This position preferred location is Chandler Arizona, or REMOTE in specific locations The Associate Director Marketing Communications is responsible for providing world-class marketing services for prospective and existing Academic Partners. The SMC may develop or work with various internal/external teams to identify, manage, and deliver services such as:

• the design & deployment of partner opportunities, account management, marketing strategy, messaging, creative, project and identity management. The SMC utilizes strong marketing and communications skills & services to optimize partner relationships to exceed results. Experienced in Marketing Cloud and Salesforce platforms Leverage learner and market research to help impact how the learner journeys and amplify opportunities for post-RFI conversion. Ensure consistent and on brand communication with prospective learners with reliance on analytics to refine learner communications and learner journey and content development. Drive long-term growth for the partner through innovative, impactful and scalable lifecycle communications. Plan, build, and execute scalable, predictable and repeatable lifecycle programs that achieve growth targets while improving student retention. Experience managing a loyalty program preferred. Work at the strategic level to define media strategies to drive growth across all mediums including traditional, digital, and organic. Leverage both direct reports and matrixed capabilities in media channels and analytics to accomplish goals. Harness technology for programmatic personalization at scale, utilizing APIs, machine-learning models and behavioral data to improve customer relevancy and enrollment Experience in email or performance marketing with an emphasis on personalization and experimentation, with the ability to learn new technologies, products, or systems quickly. Robust analytical skills - quickly digesting large amounts of data, identifying trends and pursuing the right questions to take action The SMC may be allocated to focus on a particular component of the marketing life cycle and or service. Recognizes when a decision is needed for problem solving, analyzes the situation and makes independent recommendations and decisions. Manages communications projects for various components of the marketing life cycle or services. Prepares & presents materials/findings both internally and externally for the marketing communications area he or she supports. Qualifications General Qualifications 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business Administration or related field, OR appropriate combination of education and significant experience Minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing, account management or a related field with proven ability to provide specific experience in the following areas: Management across large and diverse teams with extensive experience in the following areas: Initiating and managing large scale and complex projects across numerous cross functional and central marketing teams. Extensive experience in planning and project management of multi-channel and multi-audience asset development. Diversified background with specific knowledge of Pearson Online Learning Services team structure and process to adeptly leverage internal resources to guide optimum collaboration (RS, IT, Creative, Copy, Conversion, all Media Channels, etc.) Excellent strategic problem solving skills to guide team discussion and problem solving with consideration of multiple factors and stakeholders Outstanding intrapersonal skills with a high degree of maturity and professionalism Customer service orientation with specific experience in handling high-profile, high-demand, senior level Academic Partners.
