Job Description Job Description Our client is looking for a
Supply Chain Assistant to join their team in Oak Brook, Illinois.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth
processing of supplier purchase orders and accurate inventory
management. This position requires attention to detail, effective
communication with vendors, and strong organizational skills. The
position pays $55,000 annually full benefits including health,
dental, vision and 401K match. This position is 100% on-site with
potential for 1 work from home day after 6 months.
Responsibilities: • Input supplier purchase orders into the
NetSuite system with accuracy and efficiency. • Review purchase
orders daily to verify accuracy and address discrepancies. •
Coordinate and place orders with suppliers, ensuring timely
processing. • Receive materials into inventory and verify that they
match purchase orders. • Follow up with suppliers regarding missing
confirmations, shipping documents, and updates. • Record vendor
warehouse inventories and process payments accordingly. • Ensure
supplier credits are accurate and properly documented. • Assist
customer service representatives with order-related inquiries and
issue resolution. • Collaborate with the supply manager and supply
planner on various tasks and requests. Our specialized recruiting

including both numeric and alphanumeric inputs. • Experience
working with purchase orders and supplier invoices. • Strong
computer skills and familiarity with data management systems. •
Ability to effectively communicate and follow up with suppliers. •
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in inventory and order
processing. • Knowledge of supplier performance management and
proposal handling. • Strong organizational skills to manage
multiple tasks and deadlines. • Prior experience in a manufacturing
or logistics environment is a plus.
