About the Company: Our client is a rapidly growing legal
organization who are looking to add a Legal Billing Specialist to
their team. The company has enjoyed incredible success in the last
few years' and are seeking a candidate with a similar background to

role: The Billing Specialist is responsible for handling day-to-day
tasks associated with monthly billing processes. This ranges from
full-service billing, communication with clients, and acts as a
billing advisor to the attorneys and legal assistants by answering
questions and doing research regarding billing related issues.
Responsibilities: • Generate, review, edit, and finalize complex
client bills. • Ensure timely, compliant, accurate, and acceptance
of client bills. • Review billing rejections, process appeals,
enter write-offs. • eBilling site maintenance: firm, new employee
and matter setup, and ongoing matter updates (timekeepers, rates,
and budgets). • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned
billing attorneys regarding billing inquiries and providing timely
responses to resolve any discrepancies or questions. • Comply with
billing agreements and Outside Counsel Guidelines. • Monitor and
respond to shared mailbox emails. • Maintain documentation of
existing processes and provide training as needed. • Assist with
projects as needed and other duties as assigned. Candidate
Requirements: • Prior billing experience in a professional service
firm (law firm preferred). • Experience with Juris and eBilling
systems i.e., Ascent, Bottomline, Legal X, LSS, Legal Precision,
Legal Tracker, Collaborati, TyMetrix. • Laser-focused attention to
detail and proofreading. • Excellent organizational and
communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office suites with
a strong focus in Excel. • Ability to handle multiple assignments
in an extremely fast-paced environment to meet strict time
deadlines. • Dependable team player capable of working with minimal
