responsible for defining how the SaaS product portfolio will meet
the needs of customers and prospects. This role will own the
product strategy and product roadmap for NaviNet, a payer-provider
platform aimed at enabling greater administrative efficiencies,
while expanding the portfolio to serve providers with solutions
that enhance their practice and patient management, ability to get
reimbursed and streamline the care they provide with.This position
is responsible for creating and driving execution of the product
roadmap and all related business requirements to carry each through
the entire lifecycle (analysis, development, introduction,
refinement, growth, maturity and decline), including gathering and
prioritizing product and customer requirements, quantifying the
market sales opportunity, defining the product vision, documenting
business and functional requirements, monitoring product
performance, driving product improvements, assessing operational
impact, creating pricing and working closely with operations,
finance, sales, client services and marketing, to ensure revenue,
margin, and customer satisfaction goals are met.This position can
be office based or remote.Job ResponsibilitiesOperational and
Management
- Product Management - revenue, profitability, roadmap, business
case/ ROI, budgeting over assigned product areas
- Collects and analyzes market information regarding the assigned
products/market to monitor the competition, identify opportunities
and risks
- Collect and prioritize the ideation funnel
- Directs financial analyses as needed to support product
go-no/go approval, initiative prioritization or prioritize client
roll-out
- Creates and maintains roadmaps, communicates across the
organization and collects feedback to prioritize roadmap
initiatives
- Documents business level requirements and prioritizes requests
and projects to execute the roadmap; Identifies dependencies to
minimize rework; reports on roadmap progress
- Collaborates with legal and compliance to understand and
incorporate regulatory requirements into product design
- Balance, integrate and prioritize initiatives among existing
products, new products from existing services or from industry
experience, other productions/solutions in the NantWorks ecosystem,
contact with customers, and from market research and analysis.
- Work in close collaboration with all aspects of development,
from front-end to launch and maintenance of production
services
- Research, design and manage product roadmap initiatives,
including functionality, third party integrations and customer
requests
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to develop an
intimate knowledge of the customer base while contributing to
product development artifacts -
- Work in an Agile Product Development process ensuring that well
thought-out and consumable epics and user-stories are developed by
the PMs in your team in a timely manner
- Project Management - scope, workplans, resourcing, roles and
responsibilities, budgets/forecasts, activity coordination, risk
identification and mitigation
- Develop business plans and feasibility studies, identifying
product concepts for commercialization. Justify initiatives with
sound business cases including ROI assessment and monitor outcomes.

- Recruit, lead, and manage a team of product management
professionals
- Build team spirit, morale, and interest in projects, mentor and
encourage cross-functional collaboration
- Conduct performance planning and reviewsCross functional work
- Collaborate with COO, CPMO and senior leadership team to help
define product vision and strategy
- Own the product strategy and roadmap - defining, prioritizing
and communicating product and customer requirements and working
closely with engineering to deliver world-class products
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including sales, marketing,
and customer success, customer teams to ensure revenue and customer
satisfaction goals are met
- Provide market analysis including trends and competitive
analysis. Develop deep knowledge of the competition and work with
internal partners to develop positioning and messaging of the
product
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to
create the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability
and performance or other technical needs
- Work with marketing to maintain and provide content for product
related collateral and sales tools
- Manage vendors and assessments of technology integrations in
partnership with engineering and architecture leadershipCustomer

- Build relationships with customers to understand their
needs/requirements and take feedback
- Evaluate customers' existing systems as well as competitors'
offerings
- Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal
and external customers) and the software development teams.
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer
satisfaction, create new opportunities, and deepen customer
relationships.
- Manage customer expectations effectively while maintaining
respect and a positive relationship with the customer.Knowledge,
skills, and abilities required:
- Prior experience with successfully defining and launching
world-class mission-critical SaaS product from product discovery
though development and customer adoption.
- Healthcare or health insurer domain experience preferred,
particularly in payer and/or provider revenue cycle management
- Demonstrated ability to combine and coalesce customer requests,
industry trends, competitive analysis, usage analytics, and other
data sources in developing a compelling product design.
- Strong analytical and product management skills, including an
understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and
translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Ability to interact with customer executives, senior
management, managers, architects, developers, quality assurance
engineers, subject matter experts, and other software team
members.
- Excellent understanding of the product planning and development
lifecycle processes leveraging agile development methodologies
- Demonstrated sound technical and business knowledge and
judgment.
- Experience facilitating meetings and leading presentations with
internal and external executives
- Analytical and logical, able to develop hypotheses and
conclusions while identifying assumptions.Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, 7+ years prior
people management experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3+ years' experience in healthcare or health insurance domain
experience preferred
- 5 years' experience in managing HIT and/or RCM SaaS solutions,
particularly within provider practice settings or healthcare
