Senior Accountant Overview:The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintain the general ledger, prepare state and federal regulatory reporting, assist with audit preparations, and perform other accounting duties as assigned.Senior Accountant Responsibilities: Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balancesAssist in preparing and reviewing the Monthly Financial StatementsComplete of Bank Reconciliations accurately and on timeReconcile Balance Sheets monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenancePrepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account informationMaintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepanciesMaintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entriesEnsures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentationAssist in assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areasAssist in ad hoc projects as neededManage vendor relations and build effective partnershipsSenior Accountant Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplineEight to ten years of accounting experience required.MBA or CPA preferredProven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.Sales tax filing/reporting experience a plus.Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.Thorough understanding and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.Intermediate proficiency with a strong emphasis on Microsoft ExcelThe ability to work under tight deadlinesAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, vendors, and associatesMust have a cell phone that can download timekeeping application#TOVPI176444826SDL2017
